How technology can help us or enslave us
from 4Qtrs Podcast Hosted by Fly Supply Clothing
Technology has advanced far beyond anyone's expectations in these recent years. AI has made it possible for many technologies to run without humans. For the younger generation, technology has made it more difficult for kids to socialize with each other compared to older generations. Technology has also made it difficult to have a private life because a lot of times your phone is listening to everything you say. From ads popping up that reflect our conversations to content creator videos highlighting recent personal discussions it can be understandable to wonder, "does privacy really exist?" Depending on your mindset, technology can have a negative or positive impact on your life. QUOTABLES: "We control technology, but technology controls us too." "Technology has made the world smaller." "Technology is eliminating jobs while also fattening the pockets of corporate executives." "Things are different now. We didn't come home until the lights came on."
