How to cope with the death of a business

from The Get Up Girl · host Joanna Vargas

Have you ever dealt with the death of a business?  Girl, if you have, you so get it. Losing a business can be really tuff, especially if you’re surrounded by others who don’t understand your pain, your loss and your grief. Your businesses can feel like your baby and when it’s gone, it can be painful.  In this episode, I share how I lost a few businesses and how I got back up after they were gone and the difference between the two. I have evolved as a person and share how the first loss I ghosted my team, clients and anyone else who was in the business because I was so exhausted and full of shame. And now that I am wiser and smarter, the last closure of my latest business was so much more conscious and full of love and support.  I would like to apologize to anyone who I ghosted in the past. I was trying to survive, and it wasn’t cool. And for that, I am incredibly sorry.  Love this episode? I’d love to hear what your takeaways are from the show.
