How to Develop Self-Consciousness?

from Self Improvement

When feeling self-conscious, one becomes aware of even the smallest of one’s own actions. Such awareness can impair one’s ability to perform complex actions. “There is no coming to consciousness without pain.” — Carl Jung “Self-consciousness is the ultimate wisdom of life.” — Debasish Mridha “The level of your consciousness depends on the calmness of your mind.” — Nitin Nandeo “Self-consciousness is not knowledge but a story one tells about oneself.” — Simone de Beauvoir “Everyone is acting from his own level of consciousness. This is all we can ask of ourselves or anyone else. However hurtful someone is, he is doing the best he can, given the limits of his consciousness.” — Deepak Chopra “Self-awareness gives you the capacity to learn from your mistakes as well as your successes. It enables you to keep growing.” — Lawrence Bossidy Self-consciousness is a heightened sense of awareness of oneself.
