How to heal when the body Shuts Down

Sometimes life gets hectic and we start to shut down. This is our body telling us we have too much going on and we need to rest and self protect. Often we can try to push through, thinking that we have to work harder, or "what will people think" if I can't keep up, etc. Actually, your most important job is to take care of yourself! When going into shut down do these three things: 1. Do not be hard on yourself. 2. Practice Self care and eliminate extra obligations 3. Adopt the world view that "things can wait" and remember to not attach so strongly to the world you have created. You can change your circumstances by changing our mind and your values.
