On this week's episode of the Let's Talk Fast podcast, I am very lucky to be able to speak with Dr Kieran Kennedy who is a doctor, mental health advocate, writer and speaker who is passionate about health, fitness and breaking down the barriers to our overall wellbeing. As a self-proclaimed gym nut as well as a doctor working in psychiatry, Kieran sees first-hand the importance in advocating for mental health along with physical health to combine a well-balanced approach to health for both the physical and mental space of our lives. Mental health struggles have always been a cause for worldwide illness, however in the past few years, and especially in the past 12 months with COVID, mental health has become one of the leading causes to chronic health issues. In this episode Kieran talks in detail about the current state of affairs and how COVID has played a large role in the rise of people suffering from anxiety, depression and other mental health related issues and what he believes are the KEY actions you can take to help yourself navigate through these challenging times to see you live your best life.
