How to Not be a Stumbling Block

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Luke 16 and 17 today. What is a stumbling block? For Christians, a stumbling block is something that builds barriers between Jesus and others. If we are selfishly motivated, we become stumbling blocks. In order to not become a stumbling block, we must stop living for ourselves and start living for Him by forgiving others without condition. We will be taken advantage of, but guess what; so was Jesus. Rather than build up these barriers, let’s start tearing down barriers so that others can reach Jesus. After all, if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
