One of the scariest verses in scripture for me is 1 Corinthians 10:12, it says "therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall." This warning comes to those of us that have been following the Lord for a while because one of the things that can occur for a Christian that's been following God for some time is that they can get overconfident in their own righteous behavior. We all must realize that none of us are invulnerable to sin and its temptations.
