How to stand out in your summer internship - Tips for success, consulting internships, making a good first impression, getting a sign-back offer etc.

Once you sign the job, you have to actually do the job. In episode 10, we talk about how to succeed in your summer internship. While I focus on consulting internships,  these tips can be applied to any level of job in a professional services firm (law, investment banking) or other corporate role.  We talk about how to prepare for an internship, make a good first impression, appear more organized and various ways to take initiative to stand out from other candidates. Lastly, we talk about how to gain visibility to senior leadership and the benefits of being a social butterfly. Internships can be stressful and high-pressure, but with the tips I've accumulated over two summer internships and numerous conversations you'll be on track to get a sign-back offer with ease. The key: Work smarter, not harder.
