How to Stay on Track When You're Always with Your Kids

from Her Weight Loss Mindset | Lose Weight, Meal Prep, Healthy Habits, and Workouts · host Lindy Schlabach - Christian Mindset & Weight Loss Coach

Isaiah 40:11 says, “He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.”Here are 5 things you can do today to implement small changes:Set your alarm 10-15 minutes early to ensure time to yourself. Be responsible for your time the night before so you can ensure an early start and focused time on what's important. This means limiting screen time and going to bed on time. Even prepping what you can for the next day. Anchor 2 minutes of prayer first thing in the morning; if you’re short on time, even while brushing your teeth. God doesn’t care where you pray, He cares THAT you pray. Just talk to Him, staying in step with the Spirit will help you stay patient when your little one clings to you.Listen to worship throughout the day. I don’t like constant noise, I think it’s important to have quiet time, but we play music throughout the day. Choose movement over workouts — dance parties count! Just move. Walk in place, carry your little for a bit, 10-minute walks after meals can regulate blood sugar!Invite your kids to join you in the kitchen, prepping snacks or making smoothies. Your littles just want to be involved in what you’re doing. Don’t distract them with a screen, get them involved in your process. Let them help you workout and food prep, you’re creating healthy habits that will be instilled in them for life!Father, thank you for our babies, thank You for the tiny blessings You’ve given us in our kids. We know You see this mama in her mess and in her struggle, and her desire to be healthy for her family. Remind her that she is enough in You and help her to make time in her day for herself. Help her to find grace in the hard times, peace in the midst of chaos and let her feel Your Holy anointing on her home and over her children. Thank You for those You’ve placed in our lives Lord, let us never take them for granted. Help us to be who they need us to be today as we point them to You. It’s in Jesus’s Name we pray, Amen. Are you sick of trying diet after diet and NOT losing weight?Hey there friend, I'm Lindy Schlabach, Christian Fitness & Nutrition Coach.
