How to tap when you are too exhausted to focus on tapping (Pod #717)

from Tapping Q & A - Getting the most out of tapping and EFT

When I sit down to tap, the first question I ask myself is "What is the goal of this round of tapping?" This serves as a powerful framing device by bringing focus to the tapping session and how to approach our issue. The essentials of tapping remain the same, but there is a big difference between tapping for a limiting belief, physical pain, or feeling overwhelmed in the moment. This is a great approach except when you don't know exactly what you need to be tapping on. Recently, I sat down to tap and I felt so mentally depleted that I couldn't focus enough to tap. This week in the podcast, I share the five-step process I used at that moment. It helped me to find my focus and also helped me manage the rest of my day. Even if you aren't so exhausted you can't focus, this process is a great way to start any tapping session. I know you are going to love it. Support the podcast!
