How We Justified Care Package for an Independent Patient

"Does my patient need carers when she is independent? I could not justify getting and requesting a carer for her? She and her family are so difficult! this is stressing me out!" An Occupational Therapist felt her patient is independent so she did not recommend carers. When we explored the case, we were able to justify that carer support is the best line of action for the patient.
