In this episode, I had the opportunity to interview Jess Taing. Jess is a yoga teacher based in Vail, CO, and also a student in our 800 hour yoga therapy certification program. Jess is a first-generation Cambodian American and she shared her story with us. Specifically she spoke about how inherited family trauma has impacted her life. We also discussed her experience of assimilation as a first generation Cambodian American and the impact it had on her search for belonging, connection, and Self.
