Professor Hrvoje Tkalčić is the Head of Seismology and Mathematical  Geophysics of the Research School of Earth Sciences at the Australian  National University in Canberra. He uses seismology and mathematical  geophysics as tools to understand the internal workings of our planet,  like an internal telescope which allows us to have a better idea of  Earth's structure and dynamics.
