She paid for matchmaking services but was introduced to two men in a row who were not single. 优子: Didn't the agency verify their marital status first? 刘娜: They only asked members to sign a declaration stating that they were single and said customers had to judge the real situation themselves. 优子: Then what is the point of paying a service fee? The matchmaking agency should verify important information first. 刘娜: Exactly. Legal professionals also believe that paid matchmaking agencies should conduct careful checks instead of shifting all responsibility onto customers. 优子: I heard the relevant authorities are currently regulating matchmaking agencies. Hopefully, management will become stricter in the future. 刘娜: Tell your friend not to rush into paying. They should carefully read the contract and the refund terms first.
