Pershing tries to do good with his science, but gets peer-pressured into breaking rules by a suspiciously friendly ex-Imperial, and is rewarded with a mind-flayer session that’s definitely not part of the wellness program. The episode paints the New Republic as well-meaning but hilariously bogged down in office politics, recycled equipment, and moral gray zones. Meanwhile, Din and Bo-Katan meet up with the Covert and get forgiven for their dirty apostate sins.
