华大解码海洋微生物基因组，让沧海“遗珠”变“明珠”

拥有超4.31万个海洋微生物基因组和24.58亿个基因序列的海洋微生物基因数据库，由华大生命科学研究院参与的国际联合研究团队共同构建。这一数据库中有2万多个微生物是新发现物种，约1万个微生物在深海中首次被发现。相关研究成果已在近日的《自然》期刊发表。
