Hungry Black Bear Breaks Into Colorado Hotel And Steals M&Ms

Breckenridge, Colorado – Bodycam footage shows a black bear inside the Grand Timber Lodge after the animal unexpectedly entered the hotel and took some M&Ms. Breckenridge officers responded to the lodge and safely guided the bear out of the building and back into the surrounding wilderness. No people or the bear were injured. Officers can be heard commenting on the situation, including the smell and the bear’s apparent preference for the candy. The Grand Timber Lodge is a ski-in/ski-out hotel at 75 Snowflake Drive in Breckenridge. The police department said bears are active in the area and urged people to stay alert, secure food and trash, and never approach or feed a bear.
