HURLING: Wexford's Jack O'Connor with Galway Bay FM's Sean Walsh before the Leinster SHC

After their defeat to Dublin, Galway still need at least one more point to be sure of their place in this year's Leinster senior hurling final when they complete their group programme away to Wexford on Sunday (24th May 2026). The Tribesmen lost their last provincial championship trip to the South East in 2024.  Indeed, the last time they left Wexford with an away win was in 2018 thanks to 12 Joe Canning points and a Conor Whelan goal. Qualification for the All-Ireland series is already secured for Galway but, even though this will be their last outing in 2026, the Slaneysiders will be determined to finish on a high.
