Hypocrisy and Double Standards in Finance?

from Teacher Ces Podcast · host Teacher Ces

Have you invested in Cryptocurrency?  I did about three years ago and sold my coins this past summer.  Yep, it was a mistake.  Now cryptocurrency is booming.  Lesson learned that holding for the long term probably is the way to go.  I invested in Ethereum, Litecoin, and a fraction of Bitcoin (I couldn't afford a whole coin).  One of the issues I have with cryptocurrency is not having a full understanding of how it works.  Even after spending a whole year studying finances when starting with no background knowledge, I'm still a little confused.  I get it but I don't get it if that makes any sense.     Let's take a dive into my IRA. The value has increased about one thousand dollars in the past eleven days.  I like to feel that is good considering I am on a debt-free journey and I spoke with a financial advisor who sold and bought a few new ETFs.  Understanding what exactly goes on in your IRA has been a journey in itself.     Let's say that you have never heard of Dave Ramsey of Ramsey Solutions.  The self-proclaimed hillbilly of budgeting!  Our friends at Religious News Service wrote a scathing exposé on the hypocrisy of his organization.  Hear my take on why Dave is not the end all be all regarding my finance journey. ======== What I am Loving This Month Get Good with Money: Ten Simple Steps to Becoming Financially Whole (Coming Soon) https://amzn.to/3rIiEh2 #teacherces #wocpodcast #debtfreeliving #womenhelpingwomen #nomoredebt #assetsvsliabilities #firemethod #workingfromhome #motivation #inspiration #lifestyle #momswhobudget #gettingoutofdebt #moneysavingtips #makeabudget #budgetingapp #youneedabudget #moneymoves #moneygoals #blackpfcommunity #blackdebtfreecommunity #daveramsey #blackpodcastnetwork #applepodcast #blackgirlsrock #podcaster#debtfreejourney #frugalspending #budgeting101 #blackwealth #frugalspending #firemovement #budgetmom
