I owe it to myself to give myself a chance

Sometimes it's hard for me to take the leap because I see so vividly what can go wrong.  At those times I've found I need to say, "I owe it to myself to give myself a chance" to get myself to at least try.  I'm at one of those thresholds again and need to fall back on this phrase I've used for over 40 years.
