To date they have recorded three albums, most recently the acclaimed ‘Real Pain Supernova’. Ambrose Chapel is Ian’s laptop doom solo project – the rare output to date includes appearances on two New Weird Australia compilations, Volume Six and Bleak Metal.Ian was in Sydney as part of a research project titled ‘Popular Music & Cultural Memory’, and we took the opportunity to have him in the studio to discuss his musical output and forthcoming projects.
