While the world’s eye has shifted from Ukraine to the Middle East, much has been taking place in the long war in Eastern Europe - but no one seems to be paying attention. If Ukraine falls could that be the end of western democracy? It seems as though all Canadians - including our government in Ottawa - have forgotten that we share a very large border with power-hungry Putin. The Russians have also been asserting that they plan on expanding their territory in the Arctic. Will anyone be able to stop them?
