The very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast isthe winner of the 2024 Student Speaker Contest. If you were at Mile High last year, you undoubtedly remember the awesome presentation she gave from the main stage.   There are some who hesitate, and there are some who say, "I'm in! Let's do this!!" Eliza Lavin is one of the people who jumps all in. She was very early on in her schooling at Sherman College when she decided to enter the Mile High speaker contest. She was selected by the judges, even though she had never been to Mile High. She may not have known exactly what she was getting into, and yet, when she got up on stage, she held the audience in the palm of her hand with certainty and presence.
