For the yards receiving in a year, that record is by Megatron himself, Calvin Johnson, who had 1,964 yards in 2012. To show how the game has changed since 1990, only one player on either list who played before that year, Charlie Hannigan, caught 82 balls for a staggering 1746 yards receiving (good for 8th place still), an average of 21.3 yards a catch. Hannigan played for LSU before joining the Houston Oilers (now the Titans) in 1960. He played seven years before retiring, teaching English and reading in the Louisiana prison system before passing away at age 82.
