In the Beginning...

This episode is a quick introduction to our host, Heather Jensen, owner of Therapy Marketing Solutions and Inspired Web Design. She discusses how she started working with therapy-based clinics and the overall goal of this podcast to help small clinic owners build thriving businesses while diffusing some of the confusion and mystery behind marketing their businesses. Bio: As a mom with kids who have struggled with speech and one with Autism, ADHD, and anxiety, taking kids to various therapy, including occupational therapy, counseling, speech therapy, audiology, physical therapy, chiropractors, and many other therapists, has been a part of my life in one way or another for the past 18 years. These opportunities have taught me much about therapy-based clinics and endeared me to the hardworking professionals that own them. Combining my personal experiences with my marketing background as a StoryBrand Certified Guide and web designer gives me a unique perspective on therapy-based clinics. I have been an ideal client to many of these clinics at one point or another. I have spent time in their waiting room, researching clinics and navigating onboarding and therapy. I have become friends with the therapists. I laughed and cried with them. But the truth is that although many of them are extraordinarily qualified to treat my child and other patients, they have struggled to bring growth to their clinic. That through education, training, and experience, they have learned to become incredible therapists but have not had the opportunity to learn how to run or market their businesses. That often has been a sink-or-swim experience for them. This has fueled my passion for working with clinic owners to help them build thriving and vibrant practices.
