In the beginning

from Church for Entrepreneurs

Genesis 1–3 reveals God as the purposeful Creator who formed the world in an orderly way, declared His creation very good, and created mankind in His image to live in relationship with Him and steward His creation. Mankind was given meaningful work, marriage, companionship, and responsibility as part of God's original design, with obedience to God at the center of life and flourishing. However, Satan introduced deception and doubt about God's Word, leading the woman to be deceived and Adam to knowingly disobey God. Through sin came spiritual death, separation from God, shame, fear, broken relationships, difficulty in work and childbirth, corruption in creation, and ultimately physical death. Yet God's response to the fall revealed both justice and mercy: He cared for Adam and Eve in their fallen condition, prevented them from living forever in that condition, and promised that the offspring of the woman would ultimately defeat Satan. From creation to the fall, Genesis 1–3 establishes mankind's original purpose, explains the brokenness of the world, and points forward to God's plan of redemption through Christ and the eventual restoration of what was lost. __________ Notes & Scriptures: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/beginning Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com __________
