In the Waiting

It doesn’t take long to notice that this world is not as it should be. Whether we are watching the news or reflecting on our own lives, the deepest part of our soul longs for the wrongs we see to be made right. And in the midst of all the pain and heartache that we are currently experiencing, we ask Jesus, “How long?” Advent is a season of anticipation. We look to the coming of Jesus as our hope that all these things will be made right. It’s in Him that sorrow and joy collide. As we mourn what is, we mourn with Hope that the Kingdom of God is available now and not yet!
