The Prayer that Shapes Us | Gifts of the Spirit – February 22, 2026 11am Service
Spiritual gifts are not first about what we do, but about who lives in us. The Holy Spirit Himself is the true gift, and spiritual gifts are the visible expression of His presence as we surrender more fully to Him. While each of us may recognize certain gifts more clearly in our lives, the same Spirit lives in every believer, empowering ordinary people to participate in the work of Jesus beyond their natural ability. As we grow in surrender and maturity, His life flows through us to serve others, strengthen the Church, and reveal the love and power of Christ to the world.

This Sunday at StAAC: We are Christ-centred in our series on The Prayer That Shapes Us.Jesus' invitation from Luke 9:23-25 to "Take up your cross daily and follow Me" is no small request. Living in the Light (1 John 2:3-11) | December 21, 2025 11am Service
Advent doesn’t end when the candles burn down; it begins to take shape in how we live. John says that to know God is to love others—that’s what it means to walk in the light. The darkness is passing, and the true light is already shining. Living in the light means choosing love over resentment, grace over cynicism, compassion over indifference. The light we celebrate is meant to be lived.

Receiving the Light – Mary’s ‘Yes’! December 14, 2025 11am Service
Welcome to St. Albert Alliance Church! This Sunday at StAAC:We are still Longing for the Light. Join us for the Third Sunday of Advent as we focus on Receiving the Light. When the angel comes to Mary, she doesn't have all the answers - just enough faith to say "yes". When the angel comes to Zechariah, he looks at all his grief - and pauses. The miracle of Christmas begins with one person's willingness to trust what she couldn't see, and another person facing the grief of his own story. The Light of the world enters through humble, open, and audaciously courageous hearts. Advent invites us to the same posture: audacious courage, surrendered trust, and the risk of saying yes to God.Read ahead in Luke 1 to get familiar with the stories that will be shared regarding Mary and Zechariah.

The Promise of Light – Isaiah's Prophecy | November 30, 2025 11am Service
This weekend is a milestone moment in the life of our church family. We are thrilled to welcome Greg Clark, our new Lead Pastor, along with his wife Farrell and their kids, as Greg begins his ministry with us. This will be our first opportunity to greet the Clark’s as we step into this new season together with gratitude and anticipation. It’s fitting that their arrival coincides with the first Sunday of Advent—a season marked by hope, expectation, and the promise of new beginnings. In every generation, people have longed for light—something steady to guide them through the dark. Advent is a season for that longing, and a reminder that God has already answered it. Into a world of shadows, Christ came as the true Light—offering hope, healing, and the promise that darkness will never have the last word.

Wisdom Over Ego | November 16, 2025 11am Service
What does real faith look like in real life? The Book of James doesn’t pull any punches—it’s bold, practical, and unapologetically focused on how we live, not just what we believe. In a world full of noise, pressure, and conflicting voices, we’re invited to walk The Way of Wisdom—a path shaped by humility, integrity, and active faith. This week we’re looking at James 4:1-12, where we learn how conflict and pride reveal what rules the heart. The wisdom of James invites us to move from self-dependence to surrender - to trade ego for grace.

Wisdom from Above | November 9, 2025 Service
Welcome to St. Albert Alliance Church! In a world obsessed with proving ourselves and chasing success, James reminds us that not all wisdom leads to life. Worldly wisdom is fueled by envy and selfish ambition and ultimately breeds disorder, but wisdom from above is born out of God-centered humility and results in peace and righteousness. True wisdom isn’t found in striving or comparison, but in slowing down to be in God’s presence—listening, yielding, and living out heaven’s wisdom here on earth. Sunday August 3, 11am Service
In this Psalm King David models the honest, transformative practice of confession. This Sunday we’ll walk through three movements: owning our sin before God, asking Him to make us new, and responding in surrendered worship. As we reflect on our own brokenness, we’re invited into the grace of Jesus through communion, community, and the hope of renewal. True confession isn’t about guilt management—it’s about restoration and intimacy with God.

The Empowering | May 25, 2025 Sermon
Missed the service on the weekend? Listen to the sermon again or for the first time right here, right now.We know with a high degree of certainty that at the beginning of the book of Acts, the number of people following Jesus was around 120, and by the end of Peter’s sermon on the first day, another 3000 were all in, and a couple thousand more joined soon after. In a short amount of time the church exploded through the Roman Empire, all because of events which took place around AD 30. Have you ever wondered what it was that so captivated those people and made them want MORE? What was so compelling that they didn’t walk, they ran to become part of the church? MORE…to come, Sunday morning at 9 & 11, in person and online.Watch the full service on our Youtube Channel.
