Increasing our Light: A Plea to our LORD for our 30th Year!

Jesus declares that believers ARE the light of the world, not that we might become light. This identity comes with both privilege and responsibility. Light exposes darkness, which is why people often resist it - not because light is harsh, but because it reveals areas needing change. As Christians, we must intentionally shine our light through biblical family structures, commitment to truth, and holy living. When we hide our distinctiveness or compromise with worldly values, we lose our effectiveness as salt and light. Despite facing spiritual warfare and opposition, shining brightly brings God glory, draws others to Christ, and demonstrates His goodness to a confused world.
