The Man who Scares the Devil
Biblical manhood is not about dominance, pride, or control. It is about faithfully embracing God's design. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 11, this message explores what it means for a man to know his identity in Christ, understand his God-given authority, and faithfully carry out his responsibilities.Men are called to serve as priests, prophets, providers, and protectors in their homes, leading with love, conviction, and sacrifice. Grounded in God's created order, this calling strengthens families, blesses communities, and equips men to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.A man who knows who he is in Christ and faithfully walks in his God-given role does more than strengthen his family. He helps push back the gates of hell.

The Woman who Scares the Devil!
In a culture that constantly redefines womanhood, many women struggle with their identity and purpose. The spiritual warfare against women began in the Garden of Eden when Satan first attacked Eve, and this pattern continues today. The devil understands that women possess tremendous influence that can be used for great good or devastating harm. The woman who truly scares the devil isn't the loud, independent, immodest woman that culture celebrates, but rather the one who joyfully embraces God's design for her. She has a meek and quiet spirit, practices modesty, and uses her influence to advance God's kingdom. This requires being born again, filled with the Spirit, and having a reverent fear of the Lord.

Increasing our Light: A Plea to our LORD for our 30th Year!
Jesus declares that believers ARE the light of the world, not that we might become light. This identity comes with both privilege and responsibility. Light exposes darkness, which is why people often resist it - not because light is harsh, but because it reveals areas needing change. As Christians, we must intentionally shine our light through biblical family structures, commitment to truth, and holy living. When we hide our distinctiveness or compromise with worldly values, we lose our effectiveness as salt and light. Despite facing spiritual warfare and opposition, shining brightly brings God glory, draws others to Christ, and demonstrates His goodness to a confused world.

Three Reasons to Persevere Pt 1 - Remembering the Former Days
Many Christians have lost the spiritual zeal they once had, becoming forgetful of God's past faithfulness and works in their lives. Hebrews 10:32-34 calls believers to remember their former days - when they first came to faith, endured afflictions for Christ, and burned with passion for the gospel. This remembrance isn't mere nostalgia but a strategic spiritual discipline that can reignite our faith. We can guard against spiritual forgetfulness through repentance, Scripture meditation, faithful church attendance, creating memorials of God's goodness, and testifying to others. The early believers joyfully endured persecution because they remembered they had a better and enduring substance in heaven, understanding that following Christ comes with a cost but offers eternal rewards.

The Book of Hebrews 10:31 - Falling into the Hands of the Living God
Modern Christianity often emphasizes God's love while neglecting His justice and judgment. Hebrews 10:31 reminds us that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Scripture teaches two types of fear: the reverent fear of the Lord that drives believers to obedience, and the tormenting fear that should grip the unsaved. God's judgment is real, and hell is described as a place of unquenchable fire, darkness, and conscious eternal torment. The most important question isn't whether you attend church or know Bible verses, but whether you're truly ready to meet God through genuine repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

The Book of Hebrews 10:26-30 - No More Sacrifice for Sins
Hebrews 10:26-30 presents a sobering warning about willful sin and apostasy. The passage describes not occasional failures that all believers face, but covenantal unbelief - a deliberate rejection of Christ despite having knowledge of the truth. This willful sin involves trampling underfoot the Son of God and treating His blood as unholy. The warning serves as a spiritual checkpoint to help distinguish between genuine faith and mere intellectual assent. True believers may struggle with sin but maintain love for God's Word, desire for fellowship, and hearts that respond to correction with repentance. This passage calls for honest self-examination to ensure our faith is real, not just external religion.

Not Forsaking the Assembly Pt 4: Bringing Your Best to LORD's Day Worship!
Church attendance has become increasingly casual in our modern world, but Scripture calls believers to a much higher standard when gathering on the Lord's Day. The local church is irreplaceable because Christ Himself is the reason we gather, it provides unique ministry through the means of grace, and God has given special gifts of pastors and elders to watch over our souls. To bring our best to Sunday worship, believers should prepare intentionally, pray for the service and body, attend faithfully and on time, and participate passionately. Additional ways to honor God include submitting to church leadership, loving one another deeply, repenting and forgiving quickly, using spiritual gifts to serve, giving generously, and inviting others to join. Corporate worship serves God's glory, builds up believers, and reaches the lost when we approach it as meeting with the King rather than just another weekly activity.
