India's top dancers collab for the annual Jomba experience - 04 September 2024

This year’s Jomba Contemporary Dance Experience, hosted by the The UKZN Centre for Creative Arts' JOMBA! offers a cultural twist in the form of Indian performances headed by Bangalore based Deepak Kurki Shivaswamy.Deepak, a significant figure in contemporary dance joins Varshan in studio to chat about his involvement in the production. Joining him in studio are Prashant More, an interdisciplinary artist from India, also teacher, choreographer and dance filmmaker and; Mirra Arun who has been engaged in Movement Arts since the early 2000’s, trained in contemporary dance techniques, Bharatanatyam and yoga
