Innez Tulloch & Matthew Ford (Founder of Tenth Court Records) share some of their favourite tracks, releases and artists from 2021.  Visit https://3cr.org.au/rotations for a full list of previous programs and hosts.Tracklist and info:  At Last I Am Run Dry by Chronophage, off The Pig Kiss’d album Actually released by Cleta Petra Records in the US as well as being the first release from the Soft Office label in Europe, which is run by the members of Lewsberg. It was technically released in late 2020 but it was one of our most listened to of '21.  One Hundred and Two Difficult Thoughts by Alex McFarlane Head Honcho at Hobbies Galore released ‘Waving’ as a limited run cassette of 100, sold out immediately. Very lucky to have this and hold this one, felt like your mind could go on a journey even though you were locked inside your house.  Embarazada by Maraudeur - Based in Leipzig, Germany  That track off the album PUISSANCE 4, really love the drawings artwork on this record, with 15 artists contributing to the album artwork. All Things by Lewsberg - from Rotterdam, in the Netherlands  A surprise release in October 2021, In Your Hands is now available to preorder on vinyl from 12XU’s bandcamp.   Time in the rain by Aquarian Blood, from the album Bending the Golden Hour  Released on Goner Records, May 2021. Known It All, Seen It All by Cities Aviv Originally self-released on their D.O.T. imprint, then a cassette edition by PTP and later in 2021 it was released as a double LP by the German label Fxck Rxp, in several formats and sold out each time. Hot stuff! Ghost by Lukah, from the album When The Black Hand Touches You  This is the first of two albums Lukah released in 2021, also on Fxck Rxp label. Cities Aviv produces tracks on both of those albums.  Underground by Scraps, off her album New World Released on Moontown records. SCRAPS is self described as the "femme de la creme of Dehydrated Disco". Oceans Away by Tangled Shoelaces, off Turn My Dial - The M Squared Recordings and more, 1981​-​84 Released on Chapter Music. Tangled Shoelaces were aged 10-14 when they first started in a leafy suburb of Meanjin in 1980.  Horses On A Postcard by The Glass Picture Songs written, recorded and mixed at home by Lucy Emanuel and Violetta Del Conte-Race. This track features Raven Mahon on Saxophone. One of the only bands we saw live last year, it was their first show and they even had cassettes from the Hideotic label ready to sell. Profesh! Fantail by Mia Schoen, from the album Hammerharp Released on Glass Halo Music in September. Sleepers by Neil Richards, from the Ancient Loyalties tape Released on small label Hobbies Galore before Neil’s passing last year. Featuring Leah Senior and his son Tam Richards-Matlakowski.  Critical Hit by Teether & Kuya Neil, off their mixtape Glyph Released on Chapter Music.  Lucky by Pillow Pro (Feat. Endless Prowl), from their long awaited debut album Forever Pillow Pro are a duo: Christobel Elliot and Jude Millis recorded this album over three years across their homes in Naarm. Chu by Li Yilei, from their album Of Ambient album by London-based Chinese artist Li Yilei which was mostly completed after the experience of having to return back to China during the early months of the pandemic due to visa expiration. I Know Where I’m Going by Kutcha Edwards, from the album Circling Time Released on on the not-for-profit music label Wantok Musik.  Who owns pain? by Dag, on the beautiful double LP Pedestrian Life Released on Bedroom Suck Records.
