Introducing our guest, Max Drake - After graduation from North Carolina, Max moved to San Francisco for a year and worked  as a bartender. He joined the United States Coast Guard, where he trained to become a fully qualified Deck Watch Officer on a Coast Guard High Endurance Cutter, and then transitioned to aviation.  Max flew Lockheed C-130’s in the service and was hired by American Airlines in 1990. He retired in 2024 as a Boeing 737 Captain.
