The Installation Mass of Archbishop Michael G. McGovern as the sixth Archbishop and eleventh Bishop of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Archbishop McGovern was born in 1964 in Evergreen Park, Illinois. A Chicago native, he was ordained a priest in 1994 and served in both parish and administrative roles in the Archdiocese of Chicago. He became Bishop of Belleville, Illinois in 2020, and was appointed Archbishop of Omaha by Pope Francis on March 31, 2025.
