Integrative Approaches to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome With Dr. Jessica Pizano and Sabrina Vaz

from One Thing with Dr. Adam Rinde · host Dr. Adam Rinde

In this episode we speak with a repeat guest Dr. Jessica Pizano who a doctor of clinical nutrition and her clinical teammate Sabrina Vaz who is an expert in Pilates.  They are from Mast Cell Advanced Diagnosis and their unique focus on mast cell disorders brings them in close interaction with patients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS).    EDS is a connective tissues disorder that involves hypermobility of joints and sometimes hyperelasticity of tissue. Those who are suffering from it deal with a unique type of Chronic Pain that involves joints that are overly mobile. These patients also have issues with mast cell activation.  The integrative approach that Jessica and Sabrina take is shared on this episode . I found it very empowering and useful information for an often-overlooked and under-treated population of #eds patients.
