Intermittent Fasting - Fad or Foundation

Dr. Rodney and Karen talk about their practice of intermittent fasting.

Intermittent Fasting is very popular. It is when you refrain from eating for a period of time and then have a consistent window to eat.

Have you forgotten the feeling of hunger?

Our society says that success is to never have to go hungry.

Research shows that breakfast is the most important meal to skip.

Clear the road so the body can replenish

Stop the traffic on the GI tract.

The key is to eat the right kind of fats.

We follow the 16/8 window. Fast from bedtime until 11 am the next morning.

Avoid heavy carbs because they set off a hunger cycle.

Ageless Living Hacks:
1. Cut out snacks before bed.
2. Get healthy fats into body with MCT oil and heavy whipping cream in your coffee.
3. Drink more water.

Eat well and know when NOT to eat.

Foundation - Intermittent fasting is here to stay.
