Internationalisation is seen as one of the elements of the development of modern science and knowledge. It is difficult to imagine it without cooperation between countries, and institutions, but also the involvement of scientists and students from all over the world. This, of course, generates competition for resources, students and scientists, but also challenges for countries and institutions. Internationalisation was the subject of a congress organised by the National Agency for Academic Exchange at the Medical University of Gdansk.
