David & Sue talk to Melbourne legendary couturier Shirley Keon from Keon Couture in Collins St. Shirley has worked as a couturier which means that she not only designers her own garments but also makes them all. She is, after 45 years, retiring. Before that, however she is having an exhibition at Sofitel on Melbourne which will celebrate her career. It will show some of the couture that she has created over those 45 years. It’s running from 8 November until 31 January 2020. Keon Couture specialises in glamorous tailor made designs for women who love exquisite fabrics, perfect fit and personalised service. All of Keon Design’s work is proudly Australian made in their own workroom by extremely experienced dress makers with fabulous detail and hand finished garments in exclusive European fabrics. You can find it at L7, 20 Collins St, Melbourne.
