Interview with Bury Book Buddies Emma Davies – Episode 151

Emma Davies is someone who after noticing just how many books her children had collected over time realised she’d rather do something a bit different with them than just take them to the charity shop. This was the start of Bury Book Buddies. Emma had saw something similar in Cumbria called “West Cumbria Look for a Book“, but Bury Book Buddies certainly has a nice ring to it. In the episode I chat to her about where she hides books, what books she likes herself and about recently being nominated for a Pride of Bury award (sadly it looks like she just missed out on the finals) and also how to get involved with Bury Book Buddies. 15:55 – Ramsbottom United News: ⚽ Ramsbottom United were away to Gateshead in the FA Cup 2nd round qualifier and facing tough opposition, it wasn’t going to be easy.
