Interview with Duane Suffolk - 1716

Duane was born and raised near Lismore NSW. Parents were Seventh Day Adventists and a positive influence in his life. Having two brothers 4-5 years older than Duane meant he led a solitary life. He spent hours in front of TV, dabbled in drugs and the party life throughout his teens. He describes it as, “one foot in God’s camp, the other in Satan’s.” Heavy metal rock music, taking drugs, driving and maintaining racing cars was his passion. Amazingly, God had a call on his life. Today Duane is in his final year of Theology. How did he find his way back to God? What happened? What emphasis did God put on his life that brought him to Avondale? Duane’s testimony is inspiring to listen to. His love for Jesus is paramount in his life and he looks forward to the next step of his journey with God.
