Ever wondered what family life is like in other countries? Diane was born and raised in the Philippines by Catholic parents. Dad was the breadwinner. Mum was the disciplinarian, motivator, and strong parental influence. Diane completed high school and elected remote university as she wanted independence. It was an Seventh-day Adventist University. She applied for a nursing degree which, happened to have some religious components. She was amazed to find how much she enjoyed studying Daniel and Revelation. She met a man who would be her boyfriend for 5 years. Though Diane suspected he was someone who flaunted rules, nevertheless she remained with him. A stabbing incident in the man’s life brought on an untimely death. Diane had no one to turn to. She decided to do the only thing she could think of. Pray! It was time for a change.
