#InTheSpotlight: Sandiso Sibisi – Founder Of Born To Succeed

from Afternoon Talk · host SAfm

Sandiso a small town girl from Richards Bay, who has always had a heart for people has been involved in various initiatives around South Africa; in 2009 where she travelled around country finding young people to study a foreign language at Wits Language school to help in welcoming foreigners in their home language during the 2010 world cup, she also tutored Grade 12 Maths at impoverished schools to name a few. When being asked why she started Born to Succeed this was her response:“My greatest passion in life has always been Education and Women Development and from this the first Born to Succeed conference was born. Education, because I am a firm believer that it is the root to all good things, no one can ever take it away from you. It is your proof to the world that you can set goals, work hard and achieve them by obtaining Senior Certificates, Diplomas, or Degrees. Women, we can be such vulnerable beings but yet we are resilient, courageous and most importantly are fighters. We are called to hold our families together, bring some bacon home, and be all things to our partners, children, friends and colleagues. After all that we give, sometimes this world doesn’t give us a chance. However I still believe women are Born to Succeed. Believe it or not, we are all Born to Succeed in whatever industry, township or living circumstances we are in and the challenges we face today.”
