Mr. Sizwe Errol Nxasana, BCom, BCompt (Hons), CA(SA) served as the Chief Executive Officer of FirstRand Limited from January 2010 to September 30, 2015. Mr. Nxasana served as the Chief Executive Officer of FirstRand Bank Limited and FirstRand Bank Holdings from January 1, 2006 to September 30, 2015. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of FirstRand Banking Group of RMB Holdings Ltd from January 1, 2006 to September 30, 2015. Mr. Nxasana served as the Chief Executive Officer of Telkom South Africa Ltd. (Telkom SA Ltd.) from April 1998 to August 2005. He was the National Managing Partner for Nkonki Sizwe Ntsaluba Inc. from June 1996 to March 1998. He serves as Vice-Chairman of the South African Revenue Services Board. He serves as a Non Executive Director of Business Against Crime—South Africa (Association incorporated in terms of Section 21), Zenex 1995 Trust and Zenex Foundation, Telkom Directory Services (Proprietary) Limited and First Rand Bank and Holdings Limited. He serves as an Executive Director of Firstrand Bank Limited and FirstRand Bank Holdings Limited. He served as the chairman of Mesele-Hoskens Insurance Group from 1994 to 1996. He served as an Independent & Non Executive Director of MMI Holdings Limited from 2010 to September 30, 2015. He served as a Director of FirstRand Limited from February 22, 2006 to September 30, 2015. He served as a Non-Executive Director of NBS Boland Bank from 1995 to 1998, and the Development Bank of South Africa from 1995 to 1998. He served as a Non Executive Director of Vodacom Group Limited until September 9, 2005. He served as a Director of Co-ordinated Network Investments (Proprietary) Limited and Telkom SA Ltd., since April 1, 1998. He serves as a member of the Income Tax Special Court. Mr. Nxasana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and recently awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Fort Hare and a Bachelor of Accounting Science (honors) degree from the University of South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
