Welcome, you motion picture Podience, or, as I shall fondly refer to you henceforth: Cinematic Fanatics to Slick Flick Pick, an entertaining slick, flick-explaining series, a desirable diversion from the main vein of Chemohawk Sessions. You are my Cinematic Fanatics... and, I, your worthwhile f****** cinephile. To those of you who live for film, in an unshakable, unbreakable, unmistakable way, for those who recognize the reality of their lives and seek solace, sanctuary and satisfaction in the intoxicating fiction of slick flicks, for any one of you who cites and recites more lines of fictional, scripted dialogue than vocalizing original words of your own, then you may possess but a fractional iota of a dense volume of rich reverence I hold for flicks, pictures, films and features. I recognize the relationship I have with these slick flicks is a conditional connection; an unreciprocated, one-sided sound I sail on, alone, into the great unknown. This is the power of film, it demands such a trust, requests such a fidelity and fealty from its observers, from the audience. I told you, Podience… I am two things: a cinephile and a logophile, a star double-crossed fstars lover of films and words, I say double-crossed as my own love for both can take me to places that even I NEVER SAW COMING! Now, you know, with effect, both my undying love for film, by way of this Slick Flick Pick aural production, and through my implementation of a poetic word selection deftly expressing said love for these sought after, pondered over slick flicks. Recline, you Cinematic Fanatics, in your favorite well-worn, stale chair, rustle up some popcorn, fresh as fstars, the antithesis to that stale a** chair I just mentioned, zoom in and zone out as we unwind the daily grind with a slick f****** flick pick. What movie will it be? If I were you, I'd wait and see, but as this is an audible medium, I instead say… when Slick Flick Pick is near, stick around till, Falsetto Prophet's voice, you hear.
