Introduction to Sabbath - Mike Worley

This week, Mike Worley gave us a brief introduction to our new Sabbath sermon series, reading from Matthew 11:25-30. After taking time to watch a short video about Sabbath, we discussed the following questions in small groups: What stuck out to you from that video? Was there a Scripture or thought that especially resonated with you?​Consider the seventh day of creation as an ultimate rest day. What do you think it would be like to always live in that rest with God?​What’s your current understanding of the Sabbath? Was there something in the video that was new to you?​Is the Sabbath a part of your life currently or not? Why/Why not?​What are the obstacles that get in the way of your practicing Sabbath?
