In this episode of The-Food-&-Wine-Radio-Network, host Jennifer English covers the much-anticipated 2026 BC Crab Fest, a celebration of British Columbia’s renowned Dungeness crab. The waterfront event, which is in its 4th year, promises to attract over 25,000 visitors to Victoria’s Inner Harbour for an authentic BC Crab Boil featuring 5,000 pounds of fresh crab and 1,000 pounds of Canadian butter. Local culinary students will cook at the event, with a variety of dining options available, including the Captain’s Table VIP Experience and the new Sunset Harbour Drinks. Besides food, there will be live music, educational talks, and a family zone. Emphasizing sustainability, the festival uses reusable containers and proceeds from donations go to The Mustard Seed charity. Pre-purchasing of food tickets is advised due to the anticipated demand.
