Elon Musk spoke at one of the events on the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20th 2025. During his speech he invoked a gesture that looked like the salute Nazis used to make and that Neo-Nazis use today. As is often the case in today’s divided world, people lined up on opposing sides; either defending Musk or excoriating him.
