It Is Good Or Is It God? Good is the enemy of best. If you can trust God FOR the promises, will you trust God IN the promises? The Bible tells us in 2 Cor. 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. The Lord is looking for your faithful participation, not your own logical leading. All too often, people make decisions based on emotions, logic, or what others are doing, but not on the perfect will of God. When you follow others into what they deem good, you may miss God’s best in your own life. If you settle on someone else’s calling, you miss your own. More importantly you grieve the heart of God for His plans for you are always good and perfect.
