Is It Time To Upgrade Your Beliefs?

from Lifestyle with George · host George Ward

When was the last time you changed your belief on something? As we get older, many of us can cling on to beliefs that no longer serve us and which can prevent us making the progress we want to in our lives. Changing our beliefs is a powerful process that can fundamentally change who we are. And while it might feel uncomfortable and uncertain to do this at different times of our lives, ultimately upgrading our beliefs can mean we're growing and evolving rather than allowing ourselves to stagnate. But there are psychological forces that can prevent us from challenging some of our existing beliefs. One of them is the Confirmation Bias. On this episode I explore what this is and how we can make sure that it doesn't get in the way of us upgrading our beliefs and making the positive changes we want to make in our lives.
