Is Nature Punishing Us or Simply Returning What We Gave Her? | இயற்கை நம்மைத் தண்டிக்கிறதா, அல்லது நாம் கொடுத்ததையே திருப்பித் தருகிறதா?

In the 26th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Warns: Nature Never Forgets What We Give. We often speak about China’s rise in the world’s economic rankings and see industrial growth as a sign of national progress. Industries from across the world have moved there, bringing rapid development and prosperity. But we must also ask ourselves: what happened to the waste produced by all those industries? Today, when severe rain falls, authorities issue red alerts and tell people, “Please do not go outside. Do not get drenched in the rain.” But what is rain? Why should we be afraid of it? Rainwater is pure. Where does it come from? The heat of the sun draws water from the oceans, it rises and forms clouds, and from those clouds, pure water returns to the earth as rain. But what else are we sending back into the atmosphere? What have we released into the earth, the water and the air through our careless actions? All the unnecessary waste and pollution that we create eventually finds its way back to us. Nature is simply returning what we have given her. This is not the fault of nature. It is the consequence of the wrong kind of science and development that we have created. We cannot keep giving poison to nature and expect her to return nectar. What we give to the earth, the earth will one day give back to us. Send us Fan Mail Let Wisdom Flourish! Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth! Let us protect the Universe!
